Facilitadora de Talleres Botánicos.

In this workshop, you will discover the Japanese technique of **Hapa Zome**, a botanical printing process that allows you to transfer the natural pigments of flowers and leaves directly onto fabric through gentle strikes. You will decorate a **cotton tote bag** with an illustration of a hand delicately holding a small bouquet. The flowers and leaves that make up the design will be printed using the Hapa Zome technique, leaving an authentic imprint of nature on the fabric and turning each creation into a unique and unrepeatable piece. No prior experience is necessary. During the workshop, you will learn how to select the most suitable plants, discover the secrets of this technique, and receive all the necessary instructions to create a personalized tote bag that you can take home. Additionally, we will enjoy a break to share a coffee or herbal tea accompanied by a delicious homemade cake, turning the workshop into a moment to create, connect with nature, and enjoy the process at a leisurely pace.
Expérience étape par étape
1. Welcome and Introduction We will start with an introduction to the Japanese technique of Hapa Zome, discovering how flowers and leaves can become natural pigments and leave their own imprint on the fabric. You will learn about the materials we will use and the creative process we will follow during the workshop. 2. Botanical Printing Tests Before creating your final design, you will experiment with different flowers and leaves on a small piece of fabric. This test will allow you to discover the colors, shapes, and results that each natural element offers, creating your own palette of inspiration. 3. Designing the Tote Bag You will choose between two template designs to create the illustration of a hand delicately holding a bouquet of flowers. You will transfer the drawing onto the fabric, preparing the base on which we will later work with the Hapa Zome technique. 4. Hapa Zome Printing We will apply the selected flowers and leaves onto the tote bag to transfer their natural pigments using this artisanal technique. Gradually, the bouquet will come to life on the fabric, creating a unique piece infused with the essence of the plants used. 5. Closing the Workshop We will review the final result, share tips for the care and preservation of your tote bag, and you will be able to take home a creation made by you, where nature is captured forever.
