Handmade Soap Workshop

In this workshop, you will discover the process of making handmade soaps using natural ingredients and learn the differences between two manufacturing techniques. We will create a soap using lye and olive oil enriched with cocoa, oats, and chia seeds, ideal for its nourishing and exfoliating properties. You will also make a glycerin soap with green clay and coffee, perfect for gently cleansing and revitalizing the skin. No prior experience is necessary. During the workshop, you will learn step by step, understand the properties of each ingredient, and take home your own creations along with the knowledge needed to continue experimenting on your own. Additionally, we will enjoy a break to share a coffee or herbal tea accompanied by a delicious homemade cake, making the experience a relaxed moment to create, learn, and unwind.

1. Welcome and Introduction We will start with a brief introduction to the world of handmade soap making, the materials we will use, and the basic rules for working safely. 2. Making the Lye and Olive Oil Soap We will prepare a soap using the cold saponification process, incorporating cocoa, oats, and chia seeds. You will discover the properties of each ingredient and learn each step of the process. 3. Making the Glycerin Soap We will create a second soap using a glycerin base, green clay, and coffee, experimenting with scents, textures, and finishes to obtain a unique piece. 4. Sharing Break With the soaps completed, we will enjoy a coffee or herbal tea accompanied by homemade cake. A moment to relax, chat, and address any questions while the creations begin their resting process. 5. Workshop Closing We will conclude by reviewing the care and curing times for each soap, sharing recommendations for their preservation, and answering any final questions before you take your creations home.
