Standing alone against the Atlantic, in the heart of Costa da Morte, As Garzas is one of those restaurants that has lovingly experienced a generational shift: today it is run by Eva Fares in the kitchen and Xurxo Agrasar in the dining room and pastry, the son of founder Fernando Agrasar. Its large windows turn the dining room into an open window to the ocean, with tables by the window from which to admire the cliffs and the waves while dining. With a Michelin star since 2010, its tasting menu highlights Galician products from a contemporary perspective — red mullet with seaweed pil-pil is one of its most celebrated dishes — alongside a menu of classics featuring the catch of the day and rice dishes. A wine cellar with over 150 references completes the experience.
